The second-hand marketplace Users Share Frustration Over Size Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has updated its sizing categories for women's and children's garments but did not contact every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the revised method more closely matches other platforms.
It has advised users to check their listings and manually change the size when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Sizing System Changes
Previously, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Experiences
Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
A different member, from Glasgow, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, located in England, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Marketplace Information
The service features exceeding 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has proved a popular alternative compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: earlier, the platform withdrew an update concerning shipment methods following member complaints.
